Large Double Storey House Extension in Surrey

This was another exciting house extension project we’ve proudly completed in Surrey - a large double-storey side and rear extension, finished to an exceptionally high standard and delivered in a short timeframe.

We extended the property by 14 metres wide on the ground floor and 8 metres on the first floor, completely transforming it into a bright and spacious open-plan family home.
 

The new layout features a luxury open-plan kitchen, a snug area, a utility room, a pantry, and a larder. The kitchen features a 6.5-metre  sliding door, large roof skylights, and a 2×4-metre roof lantern, filling the entire space with natural light.
 

The luxury kitchen is fitted with solid wood cabinetry, Corian worktops, a Lusso kitchen tap, Samsung appliances, and an Elica induction hob with an integrated extractor fan. Everything is complemented by LED strip lighting, a Sonos sound system, and smart underfloor heating controls throughout the ground floor.
 

The flooring is finished in a beautiful herringbone solid oak engineered wood floor, suitable for underfloor heating and adding warmth and elegance to the entire living area.
 

The snug area features a massive TV, creating an authentic home-cinema atmosphere and a comfortable place to relax, even during the day. Access to this open-plan kitchen, snug, and dining area is through bespoke metal Crittall-style double doors, adding a striking design feature that connects the spaces while keeping them well-lit.
 

Upstairs, the new extension created two additional bedrooms, two new bathrooms, and a playroom area within the roof void, fitted with Velux windows that bring in even more natural light, creating a bright, playful space for the family.Our experienced team combines traditional craftsmanship with modern building technology to deliver projects of the highest standard.
